Most people heading on a cruise holiday are interested in relaxing and seeing some of the world, however on a recent Royal Caribbean voyage a group of travellers had a another mission in mind.
According to USA today, a group of 30 or so passengers aboard Explorer of the Seas wore bright yellow t-shirts emblazoned with 'Judgement Day 5.21.11' to warn others the world is coming to an abrupt end.
The group who belong to a religious fellowship in New York, staged rallies during a 2-day visit to Bermuda to warn locals that the end of the world is just a few weeks away.
"We are warning as many people as possible," the group's leader, Simeon Daliy, said. "There is biblical evidence that the end of the world is almost here."
Apparently, the group follows the teachings of a California preacher who had previously predicted the end was coming in 1994. He later said he'd gotten his calculations wrong...Go figure!

This really did make me think ......
