Travel review site TripAdvisor has revealed the US destinations it predicts big things for in 2012.
Based on the destinations that saw the biggest rises in traveller reviews over the last year, the list identified Nashville, Tennessee as the top US holiday hotspot for 2012.
Another Tennessee destination, Pigeon Forge, also made it onto the list at number four, while Florida proved popular as well, with Fort Myers, Pensacola and Saint Augustine all appearing in the top ten.
Other destinations featured included Austin, Texas, Louisville, Kentucky and Scottsdale, Arizona.
Karen Drake, TripAdvisor senior director of communications, commented, “These US destinations have really piqued TripAdvisor travellers’ interest over the last year, making them great options to consider as thoughts turn to vacation planning for 2012.”
